Everything lately feels like falling leaves. Scattered, inevitable, lovely for brief moments. This picture was taken on Wednesday, after the election but before the snow, both of which would have probably made for more interesting posts, but, well... everything feels like falling leaves. I’ve never had a fall rush by so quickly, but also feel so quintessentially fucking /fall/. “wrap me up in always, and drag me in with maybes” Now that it’s snowed, the season is officially over in my mind, which means its time for the planning and hibernating of winter. And lots of hot cider and holly wreaths.
It’s the perfect weather for zine reading on the front porch. Here are some recent reads. ☕️🍂 Rambling side note: I think I might start doing zine review vlogs on YouTube? Because I read a LOT of zines, and because it’s difficult to review them here. I started this Instagram as a zine-review micro-blog, but it’s really moved past that and is becoming a different sort of place, a place for capturing memories. And how many zines did I actually ever review here? I think video might be a better/easier format. We’ll see... 😊
Fall is finally here: the cool, breezy weather and grey skies and falling leaves. I spotted a crow atop my office building as I left work, and it cawed at me as I biked out of the parking lot. Is there any sound that better suits the start of autumn than a crow caw? The windows are open and the cats have all chosen a sill to sit on. T and I are going on a bike adventure in t-minus one hour. The new issue of @razorcakegorsky arrived in the mail. To quote the Cure: it’s Friday, I’m in love! 🌜🍂
