I have to give Convoy of Hope a HUGE thank you for letting me be a part of last night. It's definitely an honor to give some time and help raise some money for the hurricane relief. It's also awesome when you find out that all the little and big parts that made last night happened were all donated/volunteered and that all the money will go straight to the need. From the coordinators to the venue to the artists, everyone stepped up in a big way for a great cause. On a side note, last night was even more special for me personally. The venue it happened to be at is called Verizon Theatre. I remember when it opened about 15 years ago. I always hoped to myself I would get the chance to play there one day. Throughout the years I've gotten to play pretty much every other venue in Dallas (the city I'm from) except the Verizon Theatre. I've attended multiple shows there with Stevie Wonder being one of my favorites. Well, last night this bucket list venue got checked off for me. So again, thank you to Convoy of Hope and for all the fans who came out to support the hurricane relief efforts!
I sure do like seeing that smile :)
Playing a show in Springfield, MO tonight and I'm gonna need someone to come strum my guitar while I hold the chords because my arm is so sore from disc golf with @big_d_tech yesterday. 📸: Caddy Kate / @cosmo_kate
This view needs no filter. Was a nice day for a walk in the park with @cosmo_kate!
We were on our way home from the show last night and decided to make a little stop at the market place in Knoxville. Nice day for it! @cosmo_kate
