Two times the cuddles, two times the love! The Sherlocks were blessed with the sweetest twin boys last month! 👶🏻👶🏻 I was fully expecting frazzled, exhausted disarray when I entered their lovely home near Central Park (because... newborn twins!), yet I walked into a calm, cozy environment where the boys’ mom and dad gave off the vibe of totally winning this twin parent gig! 🙌🏼♥️ Charlie and Graham are SO lucky to be born to their wonderful parents. And... I can’t wait to share more adorable photos of each of them with you; they’re incredible cute! ♥️🥰
A little over a year ago I traveled through Scandinavia and thoroughly enjoyed my time in Stockholm. While there I visited the @fotografiska (photography museum) and LOVED it! ♥️📷 They opened up a NYC outpost of their museum last month, and was finally able to visit it today! (Thanks for joining me, @frugie !!) 🙌🏼 It’s in the gorgeous Church Mission Building on Park Ave & 22nd street. I loved walking through the interesting spaces (especially the 6th floor!), absorbing myself in all the incredible art. ☺️ This photo I took on the 6th floor in @dannybones64 ‘ exhibition — LOVE his work!!! 🥰😎 Let me know if you’re interested in visiting the Fotografiska!! They have an incredible restaurant, bar, and they’re open till 11pm most nights! 🎉
2020 is looking extra cute so far! 🥰👶🏻 Little Miss Romi was a superstar during her first portrait session yesterday! She’s such a doll and LOVED cuddling with her Mom and Dad ♥️ I can’t wait to share more photos of this awesome new family next week (including photos of baby Romi with her “big brother” doggie)! 🐶👶🏻 Comment below if you are ready for even more cuteness! ⬇️
New York City in January ✈️🚕 30 degrees and snow ❄️☃️ Sooooo happy to be here and to photograph 3 sweet little newborns this weekend! 👶🏻👶🏻👶🏻 📷 (And visit with friends and catch up on the museum scene) 🥰 But I can’t say I’m not looking forward to the 70 degree weather waiting for me back in Florida... 😎☀️ I feel so lucky to get the best of both worlds!!!
I’m finally feeling myself again after the crazy start to the year I had! Ready to hit the ground running with lots of exciting projects and portraits scheduled (including 3 babies this weekend!) 🙌🏼 I also have many adorable photos to share from my family portrait sessions last month... 💗 Little Amelia is always so fun to photograph - she has such a spirited and kind personality and we end up with such a range of emotions on camera in the end! ☺️ I’m so glad I was able to photograph her and her mom, Desiree, for some precious mother daughter portraits during our session! 📷
The upside of starting out the new year with an emergency operation? 🤕 Receiving GORGEOUS bouquets of flowers from fabulous people! 🌺☺️♥️ I was blown away by this super unique arrangement from a lovely client turned friend, created by the very talented @venetianflowers team! 😍 I am SUPER grateful ♥️ and was inspired to photograph them! 📷 Do you like the flowers on the white backdrop or black? 🤔 Let me know in the comments!
I’m shaking things up a bit on this IG feed in 2020! 🎉 Several years ago I completed a 365 project in which I took a photograph for every day of the calendar year (with my Nikon 📷 , not iPhone!) and it stretched me in the most creative ways, making me an even better photographer. I planned on starting this awesome project again on 1/1/20 but of course my appendicitis and subsequent hospital stay threw those plans off a bit. 🤕😬 Better late than never though, right? 🤷🏻♀️ I’m not going to post all of my 365 project on here, but I’ll try to occasionally share with you! I thought it’d be fun to share more of my real life and art in addition to the portraits I take of my clients ♥️ Hope you enjoy! (PS this photograph came about using a prism Santa brought me!)
Well, the first week of 2020 hasn’t gone exactly as I had planned. On New Year’s Eve I began experiencing awful abdominal pains and fever. Fast forward a few days (this whole week has been a blur) and I am now home recovering from surgery, minus one unhappy appendix! 🤕☺️ It’s funny how the start of a new year (and new decade!) has us all eagerly anticipating a fresh start, ready to greet this new calendar date with gusto and BIG PLANS! 🎉 All my “New Year plans” (both business and personal) have been put on pause as I am forced to move a little slower, listen to my body a little more carefully, and enjoy the small things (especially all the kind words, flowers, cards, balloons, and chocolate covered strawberries I’ve received the last few days ♥️!) I have the most wonderful family, friends and clients! I appreciate all of you so much and I’m looking forward to making 2020 the best year yet (even if it’s delayed a week 😉), with you all by my side! 📷 by: @hollykphotography
