Bought some 17t’s today for some upcoming force on force classes. The initial plan was that one of these was getting a RMR. On closer inspection, the slide looks and feels like it has plastic inserts. This presents problems for getting it milled. Can anyone confirm this?
Large steel targets can sometimes give you a false sense of accomplishment. The 6” rocker is hands down my favorite steel pistol target. This target at 25yds and beyond has been my go to for awhile.
Still a few spots left
Some people can shoot pistols some can shoot pistols and cameras. Caleb F gets busy on a transition while #triplebravo takes perfect pics.
Malfunctions happen even with the best equipment. On the timer and in front of other students can put stress on the shooter. Pat T. picks up another students carbine, clears the malfunction and gets back to work. Thanks to #triplebravo for the great pictures. #eagtactical #bravocompanyusa #aimpoint #surefire #evtc
The type of target you use for training can either aide in increasing skills or give you a false account of your abilities. Targets should force accuracy. They should also tell you when you are not doing things correctly. The pictures illustrate two types of commonly used targets. B8’s aren’t sexy but they will help you more than a target that rewards mediocrity. Your training should be hard and your goals should be high. #eagtactical
You can buy tactical gear anywhere or you can buy it from guys who give it a workout and understand what they are selling. Jimmy from #f3tactical falls in the later category. #evtc #bravocompanyusa #eagtactical #aimpoint
The range at echo Valley gave us the ability to stretch the legs on carbines. All the guys were able to get hits at 100, 220,250 and 300 pretty quickly. Taking the time to ensure a good zero pays off at distance. Red dots did fine to 300 but the LPVO’s did it way faster. Know what your gun, ammo and ability are from 0-300. #bravocompanyusa #vortexoptics #evtc
