We celebrated Lunar New Year with a Lion Dance today! 🦁 🐉 I always love when we can expose our students to such incredible experiences. Do you have a favorite experience you like to share with your students?
Sometimes you just have to celebrate artistic individuality and expression. 💜#toeachtheirown #kindergartenart #beyourself
We are gearing up for Valentine’s Day with some hands on science using conversation hearts! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Do you have anything fun planned for Valentine’s Day? . . . #igconnect4edu #instagramteachers #elementaryteacher #teachersfollowteachers #teachersofinstagram #teachersofig #igteachers #iteachtoo #iteachk #iteachkinder #kindergarten #teaching #teacherinspiration #teachinglife #teacherstuff #education #teachergram #teacher #teacherspayteachers #tpt #teachersofinstagram #teachersofinsta #alwayskindergarten #valentinescience #scienceteacher
It’s here! My incredibly talented friend, Molly @luckytobeinfirst, has written an awesome book of logic puzzles just for kids! It is chocked full of activities to practice reasoning skills and get kids thinking. I’m excited to challenge my students with a new puzzle each day! You can preorder your copy now: https://amzn.to/2TV1Ci3
My Kinders are rockin’ their CVC words! And these adorable snow monsters make them even more fun! This activity is part of my Winter Math & Literacy Centers. DM me for the link! What are you working on this month?
It’s planning day! ✏️ My team and I plan on Mondays for the following week. Then we spend our prep time getting copies made, etc. By Friday, we are ready for the week ahead! That means no planning or prepping on the weekends and I get to devote my attention to my own family. ❤️ When do you do your lesson planning?
One of my absolute favorite winter art projects! ☃️ I originally found this idea on #pinterest from Frogs Snails and Puppy Dog Tails. So easy and so cute! My Kinders always notice that you can’t see the snowman’s eyes because he’s looking up to watch the snow fall! ❄️
Starting the new year off with inspiration and motivation in the classroom! These sticks from @pickastic are a great way to get kids thinking. The jar is filled with inspiring quotes, reminders and life tips to promote positivity. A great way to start or end the day with students! Check them out!
