I’ve been soaking up these last few moments in this beautiful home. Pretty soon, we’ll be back in our RV living life on the open road and while I’m thrilled for that season, I can’t help but feel a tad bittersweet because I will surely miss this place. But onto new adventures. Live life to the fullest while you still can. Happy Weekend, Friends!
Can you call a place like this home? Do you have the courage to leave behind things and trade it for experiences? We do. We did it once before and it’s calling us again. RV renovations are about to begin. We’re ripping out carpets, saying bye bye to beige and aqua, hanging shiplap, (I can’t help it) 😊and doing many more good things to this little home on wheels. Then the new chapter of our lives will begin as we call this space home in the hopes of meeting some of our life goals.
Who knows where 30 years of roads may lead?! Smooshed noses and all...I still choose life with this guy. He didn’t ask for bipolar disease or depression. We took this road together and now since our nest is empty, we will embark of another chapter of our lives together. But sometimes people don’t support our dreams. Those moments are hard. I wrote about how it makes me feel on our blog. Sometimes people forget how their words can hurt. I choose wherever the road leads this wonderful man and me! |blog link in profile|
I’m so excited about my little “JOY” ornaments for my vintage green bottles. I was inspired by the lovely Natalie @vintageporch. She used mason jar lids for her project (go check out her gorgeous feed) and she glued wood letters to her lids. I, however, used guitar strings because that’s what I do! Can I say I love them! Keep the joy friends.
If you follow me, then you know my main job is jewelry designer. I’m sharing a new bracelet design tonight, & of course, I love it. I hope you do too! Created with twisted circle loops and mini guitar picks, makes it so fun and stylish. Click the link in my profile to order.
I wanted to share two views of my little breakfast nook tonight. I am a firm believer in using what you have. There’s no need to try to keep up with others. Simple can be so much better. 👍🏻 These are some of my favorite things! I recently shared that I had turned my house upside down redecorating as my therapy...I highly recommend this. Since we are now empty nesters, I wanted this space to have our small intimate table for two. (Scroll to see next pic) What memories we’ve shared at this little round oak table! ❤️I was pregnant with my oldest daughter, now 27, when we bought this table. Through the years and all the moves, we were unable to part with it and now we are so glad we kept it. Do you have treasured pieces like this?
