So last year, despite using my Bullet Journal, I may have lost my instagram mojo! This year I plan to change this and decided to create a fun Tetris tracker! There’s 31 pieces, one for each day of the month. I plan to colour in a piece for each day I post. With this as a motivator I am hoping to have more Instagram posts than normal for January and a fully complete Tetris board! If only I could play the actual game as well 😂
Although I have not made any new year’s resolutions this year, in 2018 I am planning to pay more attention to my spending habits. I am a terrible impulse buyer and in a hope to try and break this I have decided that any non-essential or non-urgent items I want to purchase will be added to this wish list and this is where they will stay for a month. Next month I will review the list and if I am still wanting the item on the list, I will look into purchasing it (within reason of course). I created this list a week ago and there are already 2 items I no longer really want so it has definitely already made a difference! For my next list I will add a column to put the date I added an item so I can check back in a month’s time and cross off any items I no longer want. Hopefully this will work 🤞
Of course, this weekly layout needed to make an appearance in this year’s Bullet Journal! Do you have any layouts that you use over and over again? A very similar template for this is available on the blog in the templates section (link in bio) ☺️
A simple January cover page this month 😊 Although I would love to have drawn something wintery, drawing free hand is not something I am very good at or really enjoy doing. Sometimes we give ourselves unnecessary pressure to have a “stunning” layout and forget that the purpose of our Bullet Journals is to be functional and help us plan our best year. So, this year I have decided to focus on spending my time actually planning with practical layouts and straight lines with my trusty ruler 😊
This month’s goals - healthy choices and make better use of my free time. Sometimes achieving the simplest of goals can make the biggest impact 😊
Some of my favourite pages are simple lists 💕
Brought back one of my favourite monthly layouts to start the year right 👍🏻 If anyone would like box sizes and general layout there is a very similar template for this is on the blog for January 2016 (link in bio) 😊
I have kept this year’s set up as simple as possible, only including must have pages and this year-at-a-glance spread is a must have for all of my bullet journals. Updated 2018 template for this will hopefully be up on the blog this weekend 🤞 What layouts can you not live without in your Bullet Journal?
