Ever feel like a fraud using the word boss in your one-woman business? I've used it in hashtags like #girlboss & admit I felt a little like a fraud because I only considered a boss to be someone that employed others. I look forward to the day my business will be hiring but for now, I'm a one-woman show. So I looked up the definition of boss to determine if I should stop using it for now, and what do you know dictionary.com's 3rd definition was a perfect fit. So boss on solopreneurs! 😉
Confession: I stayed in this robe the entire day while my kids ran amuck. 10 minutes before my hubby came home, I threw on some clothes and slapped on some makeup. Just one of those days. 🙃
As a Mompreneur (which I define as a mother that doubles as an entrepreneur) some weeks are more mom and some are more preneur. This week is definitely a mom week. From end of the school year functions, to gymnastics recitals, and soccer tournaments, my mommy hat is on! Thankful to be able to have weeks where I can focus on the home. And is it just me, or are kids hungrier during the warmer months?
My secret for saving @wholefoods & making sure my food doesn't spoil is to shop using the mini cart. That way I don't end up putting way too much in the cart just to fill it up. And it forces me to stick to my list since there's not a lot of extra room. I'm feeding a family of 4.5, not a soccer team. As an added bonus, my refrigerator stays much neater! 😍
Have you heard of the new female equivalent of the man cave?! It's called a She Shed! 😱 What 3 things would be must haves in yours??
A skillet that actually fits the bacon? And has a handle on both sides to pour off the grease?! I'm in love! Next up 🍳! #breakfast
Trying to get a shot of the biscuits to show you what Saturday's look like around my house but this little one was getting a little too close. #saturdaymorning
I 💛 Saturdays on Instagram. Everyone is generally relaxed and happily spending time with their loved ones. Ever notice how positive posts are on Saturday? Hope you have a happy one! 😍
Post and you shall receive. Remember my Mother's Day post on the blog where I recommended the ultra-awesome and equally expensive @LeCreuset cookware? Well, I also mentioned I didn't have any myself yet and what do you know? My mom was reading and bought me one!! How sweet is that?! 💕
