  • The SMBA's trail expansion project is still in motion. Unforeseen complications have arisen, and were calling on our amazing membership to find a solution! RSTBC and SMBA have procured a contractor, due to start next week on the new trails. Unfortunately the crew was involved in an accident after a day of riding at Whistler, everyone is alright, but no longer able to work. Golden Dirt Trails has rastled up a substitute crew, but we are now looking for somewhere to house a trail crew that isn't as keen to camp. If you have a spare room, bunkie or cabin for rent or donation the SMBA would love to hear from you! Shoot us a message or pass this along to whoever may be able to help. We expect the crew to be working for 4-6 weeks, from late June to August. Any help is much appreciated, come on Smithers, let's make this trail happen! #ridesmithers #generosity #goldendirttrails

Please watch for slippery log features, several we hope to replace this year. The tip half of the trail is too wet to ride, please stay on the BOTTOM HALF ONLY.
