Lazy mornings letting the sunshine in 😍☀️ ... me (@joannashimwell) and @amazedbylight really are gutted we haven’t been able to share our campsite with you guys yet this year! But we have been determined to make the most of it, and had some much needed relaxation on site after all the stress of managing our building project through lockdown 😳😳 we are getting there! And taking bookings from July 4th!
This little stunner was born yesterday and Iv unofficially named her Mariah .... 💕🥰
A hot and busy day working with the sheep and lambs today! But not complaining about the sunshine it’s glorious! We were in clouds of dust moving the sheep, never thought that possible a few months ago!
Grubs up! Dale Farm frying steak , served simple and fast in a wrap, by the fire. Who’s in!?
The vintage tractors had a full line up today filming for the Virtual Country Show @the_hay_team_tv are organising! ❤️
Coffee under the awning! Sunday and a lazy start to the day ❤️⛺️ it’s a bit blustery and wet out there. The cow parsley is dancing for me 🤩💕
Meet Bambi : she is having bottle feeds in the field 💕 yesterday she was just number 45, the weakest of some triplets. Today she’s Bambi, she’s a bit shakey on her legs. She’s a beautiful little spirit. Hope she will make it to be strong and healthy.
We are definitely not shouting about our beautiful grass fed beef 🥩 loud enough. Over the last week have had 4 customers message us saying our beef was the best they have ever tasted.... so if you are curious please come and give ours a try ... we appreciate and value the support so much at this time in particular with our main customer base (camp site visitors) still not allowed until July 4th ... our farm freezer is fully stocked with beef and open this weekend all day 8 - until 6pm
💖Before the aquilegia got flattened by the winds today!
Happy Friday! Yesterday glorious sun and overnight the much needed rain came! We are super grateful to have had a surge in future bookings this week... much needed and appreciated! Can’t wait to welcome you here! Have a blessed day ❤️
So much abundance in the verges and hedgerows. The hawthorn blossom smells amazing! The cow parsley is booming. Perhaps we need a sprinkle of rain to encourage the grass to grow though!
Something for the weekend!? We have steaks, sausages, burgers and bacon in stock in our farm shop (frozen) - come and get some!
We really hope from July 4th we can open up FINALLY and share our lovely campsite with you! Our bookings are open from then. If you missed out due to the virus and you want to reschedule then get in touch via email ❤️
Hehe one thing I love about working with my Dad is his good humour 😊 in our latest YouTube episode we show what happened next with Flossy the adopted lamb and meet Mini the smallest lamb this year! Link in bio
The days are so long now! Have enjoyed some fantastic cloud formations and skies this week. Think it’s going to warm up again after a chilly spell! We think from July we can hope to have the site open again - our pitches are huge and social distancing will be considered. If you have already missed out on your booking and you want to rebook please now email us your new preferred dates and we can move your booking... so you can have something to look forward to ❤️🥰
