It's Sunday, which can only mean one thing - MEAL PREP! 😁 Here's a morning meal prep tip to make your morning smoothie in 30 seconds flat! On Sunday, take your smoothie ingredients (👆🏼) and portion out 5 days worth. Place each day's ingredients, EXCEPT the liquid, in a bag or a Tupperware and freeze ahead of time. Then when you wake up, literally just dump your bag of ingredients into the blender, add liquid and press ON!

Here's the dressing recipe for this colourful garden salad:⠀ ⠀ 3 TBSP apple cider vinegar⠀ 2 TBSP olive oil⠀ 2 TBSP lime juice⠀ 2 TBSP chopped fresh mint⠀ 1 TBSP honey or maple syrup⠀ 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard⠀ ¼ teaspoon salt + freshly ground black pepper⠀ ⠀ I added it to roasted beets, arugula, romaine and pumpkin seeds!⠀ ⠀ *Don't forget you can save this recipe by clicking the bookmark, bottom right of the post.
A stat that shocked me: according to the Environmental Protection Agency, 60% of what you put on your skin enters your blood stream within 26 seconds! The problem is many of the chemicals are 'xenoestrogens' which mimic estrogen in your body (NOT good!).⠀ ⠀ I've slowly been switching up my personal care products to more natural options, but sometimes the natural stuff just doesn't work as well 😡. One brand that I love love love is @alimapure and my latest order was just delivered from @detoxmarketcanada (YAY!) ⠀ ⠀ I'm found it overwhelming to make some of these switches - whether to better laundry detergent, conditioner or makeup, so I've decided I'm going to tackle one room per month over the next little while and blog about it so I can share what works and what doesn't, and try to make it a bit easier for you. When I was first diagnosed with Celiac disease back in 2009, it was literally impossible to find anything GF, let alone healthy, that was fast!
