Serious question for today's #nutritiontiptuesday! Turmeric is a fantastic anti-inflammatory ingredient for it's active compound, circumin. Research suggests turmeric can even improve patient's depression symptoms by reducing inflammation in the brain. Woah!! 💥⠀ ⠀ Here are four ways to add more turmeric to your meals:⠀ ⠀ 1. Into a latte - add 1/4 tsp and blend it into your almond milk latte⠀ 2. On cauliflower - sprinkle 1 TBSP on a head of cauliflower and then roast it (with some oil too)⠀ 3. In a smoothie - particularly a pineapple smoothie tastes great with 1/2 tsp turmeric⠀ 4. In curry - I recently made my first curry powder from scratch and it had 2 whole TBSP of turmeric in it
