When you’re about to give up, remember whose watching.
When all those early mornings pay off.... This week is another week to go after it. It is another week to turn every vision you have into a reality. I spent this weekend with both friends and family who were in town. On Sunday evening, I had the day to myself and I had a chance to set some more goals for myself. I have a busy few months ahead and a lot to accomplish before the year is up. I’m looking forward to sharing the journey with you.
Content. I’ve lived in different states across the country. I’ve traveled the world. But I’m now at a point in my life where I’m actually happy. I haven’t felt this way. Ever. My life usually has crazy ups and downs with people coming and going. But now, it’s a smooth ride. Great family. Great friends. Great job. Great side hustle. Great life as a whole. Thankful for everyone who has supported me and my journey.
Wherever you are, create value. The rest will follow.
Literally living the dream. Even though I’m content, I can never settle. Plenty more early mornings and late nights ahead. I’m just thankful I get to follow my passion for cars and share that passion with friends.
One of the purposes of UpByFive was to show people that there’s more to life than just a 9-5. You have time to follow your passions and do what you love. For me, my interest lies in Real Estate. Even though I work in finance/technology full time, I have a few ideas on how I can merge these passions together. I began studying and taking classes for the state/national real estate exam to become licensed here in the state of Texas, a location with limitless opportunities and avenues. Follow your passions. You’ll never know where it may lead unless you try. - Chiedu
An interest of mine has always been Real Estate. This is the Summer of Separation. Even though it’s important to live your best life, you have to keep your goals in mind. Ask yourself before each move, will this separate you from the rest?
This weekend, I spent a lot of time having conversations with my friends who are also driven. My goals are written out but it’s very easy to get sidetracked. There’s a balance in everything. At the end of the day, life is short. But I’m working to always keep those goals in mind and to spend more time building out the dream. Got a new blog coming out this week called “Why Dallas?”. I left Ohio. I left NYC. I moved here. All for a reason. Can’t wait to share.
