Silverpoint, gouache, gold leaf and traditional gesso on panel. A little sea-thing found on the beach which feels like a piece of petrified seaweed with it’s roots still attached. It would have been a very good anchor for something less reliable
A sea-thing drawing and a uterine study on the wall to remind me of their differences and similarities. Flotsam, jetsam, formaldehyde. Graphite and silverpoint respectively.
Smiling appreciatively up at my rising estrogen levels
Graph of Waking Temperatures, forming the image of a lightning bolt that finds the quickest route to the earth. Also an approximate indication of ovulation
She’s coming, really slowly. Carcinoma of the Fallopian Tubes, oil on panel 8x8in
Proliferating Mucinous Tumour of the Ovary, 2017. Silverpoint, watercolour and true gesso on paper. Swipe for underdrawing! 💘💘
