Our Class Compliments Bulletin Board is ready to go for tomorrow! Using an idea from one of @thesuperheroteacher ‘s resources, I assigned my kids the task of creating a bulletin board for our classroom. They came up with some awesome ideas, and we voted on this one! How it works: Each day two new students are added as the “Featured Students.” Those students will then receive compliments from every other student in our class. Students write the compliments on a small strip of card stock and place them in their respective numbered tag on the board (easy way to keep track and make sure every student participates). At the end of the day, the featured students get all of their compliments! I’ll be adding this bulletin board to our TPT store either later tonight after Will’s bedtime or possibly tomorrow. Be on the lookout in my stories for the discounted price! 😘❤️
How do you teach your students to be kind to our Earth?? We live in communities where taking care of our earth is a huge priority! From special recycling and composting bins to solar energy and making plastic bags illegal, we do so much to help our planet. Are you doing your part?? 📸 @marteinthemiddle
Let’s be real, who doesn’t love summer?! I counted how many days I have left with my kids ... 15. FIFTEEN 😱😱😱 Since I teach part-time, May is going to go by so quickly! How many days do you have left / when do you get out for summer? #iteachmiddleschool #summer 📸 @viewsfromthemiddle
Classroom Management Strategy 🙌🏻 This probably makes ZERO sense to you, but it makes sense to our class! Do you have a very specific classroom management strategy in place? Or is it an area where you struggle?
Is upward-facing dog a thing? ❤️🐾😂 #teacherdogs #dogsoftpt
I give my students anywhere from 20-30 minutes a day to read in class, and I read right along with them! What’s your independent reading like in your classroom? @helloliteracy
Love this bulletin board right now ... BUT ... My students had an even better idea for it that I just finished making and will be putting up this week! So excited to show you guys what we came up with! #bulletinboard

It’s a REAL #teacherfeetupfriday for me since I worked the whole week!! And man, I am tired! Also, what world do I live in now where my students are educating me on why I don’t get many likes on my IG posts 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ “You must have a lot of ghost followers ...” lol 😂 I just can’t.
I always love seeing what the kids come up with when we do fun evidence-based art activities for stories we read! These ones are for The Most Dangerous Game!
