Today we started setting some writing goals! We still have a lot of friends to get to but these students were excited to talk about what they’re going to be working on! #kindergarten
😍 Found this sweet little note on my table this morning from when I was out of the classroom yesterday. I mean does this happen in any other profession?! We are so lucky to spend our days with kids!
🍎 I had a great time presenting at The Ohio Conference for Kindergarten Teachers today! Thanks for inviting me @sde4educators and I may be slightly biased but Ohio teachers are the bomb!
Sometimes students really need a visual! I LOVE this shhhhh light from @thecreativeapple ! Such a great way to remind student to use a whisper voice or that there is no talking during a certain part of the day!
✉️📫 Kids 💗 getting mail! At the beginning of the year, I write all of my students’ names on cards and write them notes throughout the year! Once I get through everyone, I start over again! It’s one simple thing I can do to remind them that I care! #relationshipsfirst
🎵 🎶 One of the most used classroom management strategies in my classroom is MUSIC! We use it for transitions, for packing up, brain breaks, during work time, and of course for learning! My📱is always connected to this speaker through Bluetooth. I use iTunes and Amazon Music! Do you use a Bluetooth speaker in your classroom?!
💗 Walked into my classroom this morning and couldn’t wait to see my students! The day didn’t disappoint. So grateful to spend my days with 5 & 6 year olds.
❄️ It’s been 2 years since there was a polar bear on the loose (don’t worry, we caught him!) The school that I teach at now has yet to experience it... should I bring it back?!! #kindergarten
