Iām still pinching myself after seeing this series on a billboard last week. An actual billboard. All because someone thought my work was good enough to be shared with the entire country. As a creative, I often doubt myself so much that I hardly want to share my work with anyone, let alone the nation. Sometimes, I get so nervous hitting āshareā that I start thinking about how I need to re-shoot the campaign all over again. But for this travel series for @avisaustralia I only had one shot. I had one weekend to capture what I needed, three hours west of Sydney with no second chances. And so I spent almost every hour of daylight we had during the trip creating. And even after filling almost every SD card that I own I still wasnāt sure it was good enough. Aside from the support of Scott behind the lens, I was bringing the series to life all on my own. And as usual, I didnāt have a colleague, or a peer or a boss behind me to tell me that Iām doing a good job. I just had to rely on myself to know that, which most the time is easier said than done. So when I saw my work up there last week, it meant more than you could possibly know. Because to me it proved, in the most physical and tangible way, that I am good at this, and that my work is worth creating and worth sharing š¤
