I think he's excited for his treat - I made healthy dog treats for my friend's dog's birthday, not knowing that her dog is gluten free (which is a thing!). Her dog can't have small bits, but I had no idea that dogs can be gluten free like humans?! Allergies amaze me. 🐶
Just a casual Sunday lunch at The Standard Market | Protein 🐟 🐟 🐟 , carbs 🍉 and vegetables 🥒🥒 + a little somethin somethin for my sweet tooth (other than the watermelon, of course). I find that the more carbs I eat, the more I want to eat and focus less on important tasks. Instead of starting my day off with pancakes and a small yogurt, I like to switch up the pair and have a large bowl of yogurt and a little bit of granola, this way I get more protein, less yummy carbs that are actually not as good as yogurt, and I'm not hungry until lunchtime. Works every time. 😄

Who has tried @hailmerrysnacks almond butter cups?! They're more like mini tarts with dense, healthy chocolate, than they are Reeses. I went to Snap Kitchen and the guy that worked there said he eats a package every morning. They're so good, guys! (I promise, I'm not getting free tarts in the mail as I type this - I actually LOVE these little guys). Okay bye! 😍

I've noticed that the more protein I eat, over carbs and fats, the less I'm controlled by food and craving to eat more and more. Now that's not to say I don't crave food, because I do. I crave a LOT of yogurt (a lot - a lot), and it fills me up until my next meal... or.... I crave chicken, or turkey bacon or a turkey salad. Eating more protein has trained my body to eat only what it needs. When my family is getting curly fries from Arby's, I have no urge to reach over and grab a few. None. I'm no longer under the employment of sugar cravings and what not as much (as I used to be) ❤️ #dareyoutotryit // stole this photo from @sarajohnson8972 😊
Awww Snap! @snapkitchen I forgot to grab about ten more meals for the week (this place is unbelievably good!!). They used to have one near me, but now they're only in the city, versus the suburbs 😢. Everything inside is gluten free, healthy and they have meals ranging from breakfast to dessert, savory to salt, meal to snack.. water to fresh pressed juice. 🍕I got a cauliflower pizza, salmon salad, and the bestest chocolate mini tarts with almond butter inside @hailmerrysnacks
