1st day back at school in Kazakhstan - Aja 11th grade, Zoe 9th grade, Noah 6th grade and Max 3rd grade.
We'll see you at Christmas time, Macy!! So proud of you and love you so much! Miss you already. 😘 xoxo (photo from Paris)
At the BYU opening game vs Portland State. Go Cougars! Final score: BYU 20, PS 6
Max was so proud of himself. 😂
We visited the Eiffel Tower today and (besides the long lines) it didn't disappoint! We learned some interesting facts, too - it was built for the World's Fair in Paris in 1889 and was supposed to be up for only 20 years • it was used during WW1 as an antennae • it took 2 years to build• it used to be the tallest building in the world until the Empire State Building was built • it has been repainted 18 times (every 4 years) • it's the most visited tourist attraction in the world.
Aja at the Louvre. (we can't help but quote Brian Regan every time we say it, we are so sophisticated)
We visited the Louvre today and saw the works of Michelangelo and even saw the original of Da Vinci's Mona Lisa. As we were walking through the museum Max said, They were really good at painting inappropriate things back then. Ha! Leave it to an 8 year old!
We finally made it to Paris and first stop - the PSG game with NEYMAR! The kids are huge European soccer fans and have been looking forward to this game for weeks! PSG is playing Toulouse and it's Neymar's debut game. #neymar #parissaintgermain
