In Our Schools: This year, Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart's Lower School will center on the theme Mind, Body and Heart, as part of Princeton Academy's Social Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum and commitment to boys' wellness. Within this concentrated focus lies Wellness Week, a new and exciting initiative that will incorporate a multidimensional approach to bringing out the best in boys. Wellness Week kicked off in September, with mindfulness practitioner Trish Miele from To Be Mindful leading students and faculty in structured, guided and grade-level specific mindfulness practices. Princeton Academy's personalized program All About M.E. (Mindfulness Exercises) allows for all boys (Kindergarten through Grade 4) to practice and recognize the value of being mindful in an ever distracting world, while also learning self-regulatory techniques as they manage their emotions with themselves and others. Wellness Week will continue to run throughout the school year with one week each month being dedicated to mindful events. Learn more at princetono.com

One of my favorite towns that I never have a chance to visit is Bordentwon. It has the charm of a historic village and unique shops & restaurants that I would compare to New Hope and Lambertville. One of the destinations that has been on my list for over a year is @CakeBoxbyNeelma. It’s a great spot for meetings (like today) and coffee, and a must for satisfying a sweet tooth. She has developed over 300 different cupcake varieties to date! Stop by this weekend during the Cranberry Festival (Oct 7 & 8), or if you need to meet someone for coffee, consider Cake Box!
