I've been working with a lot of dreamers and makers lately- those cool people creating small businesses from their deepest passions. I absolutely LOVE this work. Being an entrepreneur takes great vulnerability and deep commitment. I'm honored to get to show some of their stories, noticing the nuances that become the normal elements of their everyday lives; a baker's flour covered hands, a fitness coach's perfect pull-up, a painter's palette covered with their favorite hues...
Working on a new personal website and this guy is definitely gonna be on the front page.

Fun. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Joy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Gratitude. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So thankful to get to work with magical, inspiring, living life to the full” kind of people.
The lover of photography is fascinated both by the instant and by the past. The moment captured in the image is of near-zero duration and located in an ever-receding 'then'. At the same time, the spectator's 'now', the moment of looking at the image, has no fixed duration. It can be extended as long as fascination lasts and endlessly reiterated as long as curiosity returns. Peter Wollen, The Photography Reader
2019 is booking up. Crazy. Here's a PSA that you can follow my wedding work over at @yellowfeatherweddings while I'll keep posting my other work here. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Also...I'm not taking any bookings right now while I get caught up on alllll of the editing. So everyone waiting for their photos...they're coming. I promise!
You can now get postcards with this guy on it at The Book Haven downtown Salida! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Go send one to your pal and pick up a new hard cover because we could all use more books in our digital lives. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ @salidabooks
