Here’s one of the simplest yet REWARDING desserts using @tillamook ice cream for your Summer parties. Make two square cakes (your favorite cake mix is perfect!). Layer slightly melted 56oz. worth of @tillamook ice cream (I used Tillamook Old-Fashioned Vanilla and dreamy Chocolate Peanut Butter ice creams on top of one of the cakes. Sandwich cakes together. Cover & freeze overnight. Next day when you have guests over, cut it up and serve with toppings! No need for frosting! I added fudge and sprinkles (for the kids!) to the vanilla & chocolate cake and fudge and peanuts to the chocolate peanut butter fudge cake. When I was Cooper’s age, French toast was the first recipe I made (thanks scholastic book fair!!!) I used to make it for myself on weekends when everyone was sleeping. (Always an early riser like my Dad). Anytime I make it at home, I think about how my brothers used to beg me to make them some (cuz my mom didn’t!). French toast became great bargaining tool.
