Really no words for how magical yesterday was. The weather, these people (+cutest dogs), Biltmore. All of it. So happy with how this first image turned out😍 and all of them! So thankful neighborhood walks led me to meeting the Pearce Family. They have quickly become best friends to us and we love doing life with them! So proud of their strength and growth over the last year. We love y’all!
This time of year is busy for so many reasons - Work, Fall activities, Birthdays and not to mention the Holidays approaching fast! Photography is crazy --> weddings + family sessions - whew!! All my fellow photographers understand. If you see one or know one - give them a hug and maybe some chocolate 😉! But truly, I'm so thankful for the immense growth over the past year. Sometimes I can't even believe it! Finding the perfect work/life balance will probably never happen but I'm always finding ways to get there. This Friday we celebrated Haddon turning 3 and I intentionally took the weekend off from shoots and all editing to be present with my family. It was so needed! Feeling refreshed for the week ahead which includes a shoot every single night and a wedding on Saturday! But hey, Thursday is OUR family shoot with my amazing friend @megangielow. I'm thrilled to see what she captures. Her eye for detail and emotion constantly amazes me and it's a dream to have her photograph us! If you're still reading - Happy Monday :). I'm thankful for each of you that continues to support and follow along!
How fun are these Fountain Fireworks?! Another win was Mitchell making it out without catching his hair on fire - yup, that happened a few weekends ago😂! Oh and Happy Halloween!! I LOVE seeing everyone’s costumes. Tell me what your dressing up as!? 👇🏻 Are you a “make it myself” or buy it kinda person? I love a good homemade costume but we definitely bought the kids a costume - thank you Amazon Prime!
I can walk into a wedding and know @springvine was present without even looking at the vendor list. Their style and brand is spot on and I love everything they create!!
Who says rain can’t be beautiful?! These two didn’t stop smiling all day and their joy was contagious to all of us! One of my most memorable moments of their wedding day was during their ceremony when the officiant told the story of Ross and Jenna’s second date and Ross said, “isn’t it nice to know the search is finally over?” 😭❤️. When you know, you know! We’re headed back to @chestnutridgeevents today for another gorgeous wedding!!
It's been over a week since my last post which usually means I'm working hard to get images delivered to my clients and... I'm not the greatest at planning my social media posts ;)! FALL has arrived in WNC and while this season keeps me busier than I prefer, I truly LOVE getting out and exploring all of the beauty. This morning as I drove my kiddos to school, the fog was all around us, the sun was beaming through the clouds, worship music was playing and my heart was filled with gratitude. Gratitude that we have a God who loves us unconditionally, who is with us and hears us. He has gifted us with two precious babies (that giggle in the backseat as I reflect) and way more than we will ever deserve. No matter how busy life gets, how hard things are, how much change is being thrown our way - God is our constant. God never changes; God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God is the one thing you can count on that won’t change. God is the one absolute that truly doesn’t change and the fact that I can rely on the stability of that magnitude completely blows my mind! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Headed back to the parkway this evening for another beautiful engagement session and I can't wait to see how the colors have changed + meet Amanda & Justin, yay!!!
