Wedding planning is an extremely fun and exciting process, especially if you’ve been dreaming about your wedding day for a long time. But for some, it can also be overwhelming and stressful. There are so many vendors to select for every aspect of your wedding day, and an INSANE amount of options to choose from. Planning your wedding can end up feeling like a daunting process. And if you’re like me, you’ll probably sit there and realize that you don’t even know where to start. How do you decide how much to budget for each vendor? How do you find those vendors? And how do you make the decision to go with one vendor versus another? I tackled all of these questions in the Wedding Wednesdays post I shared yesterday on my blog. Make sure to hop on over there to give it a quick read. The link to my blog is in my bio! -—————- Are you interested in reading more articles like this? If you are, make sure to check out my Wedding Wednesdays educational series! Once or twice a month (on a Wednesday, of course!), I post on my blog different articles sharing wedding planning tips and bridal inspiration. You guys, before I officially wrapped up a VERY busy month of January, I had the opportunity to shoot an engagement session for these two sweet and amazing people - Colleen and David. I've known David for over 10 (!) years, and after getting the opportunity to meet Colleen a couple of years ago, I knew they were seriously so great together. Their session (like them) was so much fun, and I had a wonderful time shooting some images for them in a few different locations in NYC’s West Village that had a special meaning to them. I just can't wait to spend the day with both of them later this summer photographing their wedding. I know it's going to be absolutely amazing! To see some of my favorite images from their engagement session, please make sure to hop on over to my blog. The link to my blog is in my bio!
I believe in love. I believe in finding a hand that fits perfectly in yours. I believe in that moment you fall in love with your best friend. And in falling in love with that person not once, but each and every day. I believe in the kind of love that brings out the best in you, lifts you up when you’re down and helps you through the tough times. The kind of love that makes you think: “If for whatever reason I didn’t get to accomplish or obtain many of the things I’ve been dreaming about, I would be ok... as long as I have you.” Double tap if you also believe in this kind of love.
Hey there! ⚠️ Slow your scroll! ✋🏻 This is important. Have you ever sat to think about the things you want to accomplish during your lifetime? Today, I sure did. I was talking to a friend yesterday about how she finally tried something she had never thought she would be able to do: go skydiving. And how she realized how incredibly amazing it was once she eventually mustered the courage to do it. So she inspired me to sit down and think about those things that I would love to know I did or accomplished in however many years I have left. I realized that some of those things I’ve already done, but there’s still a lot I need to get to! So without further ado… Here's my bucket list......... ☑️ Take a walking tour of Barcelona 🔲 Photograph a few weddings in Europe (Maybe Italy? Greece?) 🔲 Go on an African safari ☑️ Take a stroll down the Champs-Élysées ☑️ Learn how to dance the two-step 🔲 Ride in a helicopter ☑️ Go white water rafting 🔲 Go backstage after a Broadway show ☑️ Step on a NYC Ballet stage ☑️ Visit the Grand Canyon 🔲 Watch the sunset on a trip to Hawaii ☑️ Go snow sledding 🔲 Build my first home and host a holiday party in it ☑️ Catch my first fish 🔲 Become a mom... and be an awesome auntie 🔲 Foster a puppy ☑️ Take a road trip 🔲 Run a full marathon in support of a cause 🔲 Learn to knit ☑️ Witness a surprise marriage proposal So tell me... What’s in YOUR bucket list? Share it in the comments section below!
Hey guys! Happy Friday! Who's excited for the weekend!? I know I am! And I'm even more excited today because I just launched a TON of improvements I made to one of the sections of my website! Just to give you a little background... Over the past few weeks, I've been working on giving “The Experience” section of my website a complete facelift. And I love how the section looks now! I’ve updated it in order to give prospective clients (whether they be brides, moms, high school seniors, or just people wanting beautiful portraits of themselves) an idea of what a photography experience with me looks like. I describe my process from start to finish and inform clients what the starting prices of my portrait and wedding collections are. And in “The Wedding Experience” section of my website specifically? I include reviews from recent couples and describe in detail the characteristics that make up an #ARBride, #ARGroom, and #ARCouple. All of this in an effort to help prospective clients determine whether or not we would be a good fit. And now... When you have a few moments, make sure to hop on over to my website so that you can explore all of the new features of this new and improved section, which you can access easily from the main navigation bar at the top where it says “THE EXPERIENCE.
