My Sunday nap buddy.
Skipping rocks with dad. 👨👧👧
My three. 💗
After a rough start to our week, we took a spontaneous, 36 hour trip to visit grandma on Wednesday. Before heading home, we made a quick stop for a picnic and wine in Rocheport, which I swear is one of the best small towns in Missouri.
A night with Anne Lamott.
My girls. 💗
Skipping rocks while I tried to keep Hazel out of the water.
After a few days of thinking, which is how Clementine decides most things, she's decided she'll be a gardener when she grows up. I figured it was time we start growing something besides dandelions.
Twirly skirts, dandelions and bubbles forever.
An hour long hike with no tears. We've come a long way this year. 💪
Hazel Jane and Great Grandpa Palmer. 💗
Spring is just around the corner and I'm so glad I've been able to connect with @wildandfreekc moms for outdoor meet ups for the kids but I must confess: kid-free breakfasts are my favorite activity we plan. If you're in the KC area, check out our Instagram for more ways to get connected with other moms in the area.
@happygillis, you never disappoint.
Looks like the season of everyday baths has arrived. 🛁
It's actual real life magic, y'all. (But let's be honest, my babies sleeping bar is set super low.)
We 💗 homeschool co-op.
Park hangs with our #internationalwomensday reads.
Keeping us all entertained one rendition of Sister Suffragettes at a time.
Such a fun morning. 👩🏻🎨👩🏻🎨
Little mama in her element. 💗
This sweetheart is six months old today.
My quiet conference call cost me a tube of lipstick.
Out first attempt at beignets. They're not very pretty but they sure did taste good.
Can't keep the shoes velcroed, can't keep the hair done, can't keep the clothes neat, can't say cheese without flailing around. So my girl. 💗
I've been using the pomodoro technique and batching to get as far ahead as possible on my work, allowing me to focus on home and kids more when I'm solo-parenting during the week. Freelancers, work-at-homers and entrepreneurs, do you have any productivity hacks you rely on? Tell me about it! 👇🏻
We almost stayed in. I think we made the right choice.
Things to remember about today: 1) The way Clementine says, Check this out! like a big kid. 2) That Hazel thinks A park, a tree, it's very cool to see!! are the words to A Spoonful of Sugar. 3) How cute this kid is. 😍
You missed a spot! 🍕
When meal planning for all of 2017, one might need a snack break.
Found the sunniest corner in the library, a few toys and a stack of cook books.
It's the witching hour, so Nolan and I are engaged in our daily 5 o'clock routine of sitting on couch, bossing the sisters around while they clean up their toys before dinner.
After several busy days, this is a welcomed change of pace.
It's not a secret that I love social media. Without it, I would probably still be working overnights at the hospital until of doing something I love while staying home with my kids. Another reason I'm such a fan is because I get to meet amazing moms living the same life phase. These moms are some of my favorite on IG. 💗day prep. Personalities shining through, one has developed a really efficient system for knocking out all 27 valentines while another is still doodling on her first.
Tuesday things: Spiced Pear & Browned Butter Pie and realizing pastry crust is not my thing.
