Another successful STEM night down in the books! This year our elementary schools have outdone themselves with the introduction to STEM nights. The evening activities help engage students and families in the wonderful world of Science Technology Education and Mathematics. Thank you to the Salt Lake Astronomical Society for being our special guests at Middle Canyon Elementary School. We loved the telescopes and activities presented! #STEM #teamtcsd #educationelevated #loveUTpublicschools

We greatly appreciate the partnership we have with Grantsville City Police Department, Tooele City Police Department, and the Tooele County Sheriff's Office. Today that partnership was extended even more as these officers were trained in Second Step and prevention science. Second Step is the district's social emotional learning curriculum in all K-8 classrooms. Our law enforcement officers will be in all 6th grade classrooms in the TCSD Tooele Valley schools during the next two months teaching second step lessons! Thank you TCPD GCPD & TC Sheriff’s Dept for all you do and for your commitment to our kids!
We are all TCSD ambassadors. Together Everyone Achieves More #teamtcsd #customerservice
The Tooele Unified Special Response Team conducted SWAT training using TCSD buses. We appreciate our city and county law enforcement, not only for the collaboration that occurs in schools but also for creating a safer environment in our community. The team is made up of law enforcement from Tooele City Police Department, Grantsville City Police Department and the Tooele County Sheriff's department. True public safety requires a collaboration between law enforcement and the community --Betsy Hodges
