I've been in a such rut lately with writing and how to move forward which is why I've been a little MIA lately. I also don't find much joy in posting anymore so I'm having a hard time keeping up and staying genuine about what I share. ▫️ So you might not hear from me for a bit. Whether that's another week, a month or longer, not sure. I just know that if it isn't bringing me joy, it's not worth it. Until then ♥️
He had no idea how scrawny he looked when he told me to take a pic of him in his new life jacket 😏 #waterdog #minigoldendoodle
Happy happy birthday @johnstebelton, you are an old man now. #lookinggoodfor27 #faceapp #gotyouback
I've decided to start sharing more thoughts about the audiobooks I've been listening to! I get through roughly two to three audiobooks a month because of my long work commute and I've finally figured out a good way of taking a photo of them haha. ▫️ I usually only listen to nonfiction and memoirs but after seeing the cast of actors listed for Daisy Jones & The Six and that it is written in interview style, I decided to give it a shot as an audiobook and OH MAN. This audiobook was amazing. I loved it and am now part of the group of people that cannot believe this isn't a real band. TJR does a phenominal job in making you believe this is not fiction. One of my best reads so far and I highly recommend the audiobook!
About half way through this book and on the fence whether to give up or keep going. The story is okay, but I feel like it is trying way too hard to be relevant causing the dialogue to be awkward, the pop culture references to be annoying, and overall too predictable. I do like that it's about four sisters and the grandmother owns a bookstore, but I'm just not feeling it. 🤷🏻♀️ . Have any of you read this book?
One of the highlights from our weekend in Cleveland last month was eating lunch at Larder's Deli. Located in Ohio City and in the Historic Ohio City Firehouse, it is an awesome space with a great bustling vibe. The Pastrami sandwich was OUT OF THIS WORLD 🤤 . We left thinking of all the ways we could make sure we stop there on our way to somewhere in the future, haha. Next door is Rising Star coffee which was a gem as well. . If you are ever in Cleveland, I definitely recommend checking out this area! Better yet, set aside a weekend and go there, this deli alone is worth the trip. . Full Cleveland Guide coming soon! 🙂
