Last weekend we played in the middle of Manchester’s most polluted street (Deansgate) as part of the Northern Rebellion @xrmanchester @extinctionrebellion It’s promising to read that as a result of last weekends actions @manchestercitycouncil have agreed to pedestrianise parts of Deansgate if they can sort out the buses, and have planned to bring forward the draft City Centre Transport Strategy. In the meantime whilst Manchester has declared a state of climate emergency, what has been done about it? What are we doing about it? What about the rest of the country?
