📷Photographers, did you feel like 2018 was spent stuck behind a computer screen editing wedding photos day after day until all kinds of ungodly hours of the night? ⏰ Raise your hand if that was you! And raise your hand if you're ready for a change, a load to be lifted off of your shoulders, newfound time and freedom to spend with your family and friends or time to spend working on other projects to bring more money in with your business! 🙋🏼♀️ If that's you, 2019 could be your year! I'm adding up to 2 more editing clients right now and I'd love to chat with you and answer any questions you have about outsourcing your photo editing! 💻 DM me or email me at Erin@ErinLindseyImages.com for more information and/or to schedule a complimentary video chat consultation with me -- no expectations or strings attached! ❌ I think 2019 is going to our year of change and rest and growth and newness! AMEN?!🎉 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #photoeditor #privatephotoediting #privatephotoeditor #boutiquephotoeditor #boutiquephotoediting
I know, I know. Long time no see!! Haha! I don't typically go almost 2 weeks without posting on my feed, but like I mentioned in my last blog post, I am choosing not to post things out of obligation if there are more important things and people I need to be focusing my time on. And the past week and a half has been the prime example of that! 👍🏻 So thank you for sticking around and allowing me to focus on other things for the past little bit. 😊 But it's a new week, a new year, and I have some new workshops I'm working on for you guys! Starting with a Manual Photography Workshop for Beginners in February, which I'll be hosting at my 🏡home🏡 for the first time! I'm so excited to host you guys and teach you all about manual photography in one of my favorite places! More details will be announced soon! 📝 I'm also working on a ✨BRAND NEW✨ workshop for intermediate photographers who want to improve their client experience... so we'll be chatting all about how to up your photoshoot game when it comes to posing and client interaction! It's all about giving your clients an incredible experience from beginning to end! I CANNOT WAIT to launch this workshop for guys this Spring!!! 🎊 Are you as excited as I am?!?! Leave a comment and tell me which workshop you're most excited about and why! #hsvworkshop #manualphotography #beginnersphotographyclass #ihearthsv #huntsvilleworkshop
Abide. One of the words I’m dwelling on this year. Do you choose a new word each year? I do... and I LOVE it! 🙌🏻 I’m also doing monthly goals/resolutions instead of yearly ones. This month, no extra sweets like candies and desserts. 🚫🍬🍰 Next month, go to bed before 10pm and get up by 6am... 🛌 2018 has come and gone and I shared some highlights as well as some goals I have and changes coming in 2019 on my blog. 🎉 Check it out in the link in my IG profile!
I will be logging off of Instagram/social media for most of the next week so that I can enjoy time with my family. ❤️ And while we couldn’t send a Christmas card to each and everyone of you, we still wanted you all to know that we love and appreciate you, so here you go! 💌 We hope you have a very Merry Christmas! 🎄
I looooove this time of year! This is the time of year when I share my favorite photos from the year… and boy do I have alot of favorites! I cannot believe it’s already time for this blog though. It totally crept up on me!! 😱 You all know we cut down on our weddings by more than half this year, so it has definitely been an adjustment not having my usual 5-8 photo sessions and 2-4 weddings every month! It’s been good, but it’s been an adjustment nonetheless! We have loved having more time to spend together and with family and friends. It was strange having some Saturdays just completely free with nothing to do but relax. We haven’t had that in about 9 years! Haha! 🕰 All that being said, we LOVED our couples in 2018 and we wouldn’t trade them for the world! We may have cut back on our weddings by more than half, but the couples we worked with more than made up for it! We love each and every one of our brides and grooms and we feel so so blessed and so lucky that they chose us to capture such an exciting time in their lives! I have so so many favorite photos from engagement sessions, regular photo sessions, and weddings this year and I’m super excited to share them with you today! 🎉 Without further ado, let’s just jump right in! My favorite photos from 2018! Link to my blog in my IG profile!
I have posted very little on my blog/newsletter and social media this month. My first instinct is to apologize... I feel bad about being a little MIA -- at times just plain forgetting to post when I had planned to. But then I catch myself and realize that it's fine. It's not a big deal and certainly not something I need to feel bad about. At least I don't see it that way. 👍🏻 You see, I've been doing other things. Things that take priority in my life right now over social media.... 💕 Spending the evenings with my husband. Getting lunches and dinners with friends. Spending the night in Nashville with some girlfriends and spending the night in Birmingham with my best friend. Visiting my in-laws out of town 2 weekends in a row and laughing for hours on end while playing a board game together. Prioritizing keeping my house clean because Will and I feel more relaxed when we have a tidy home. Cooking dinner at home as often as I can. Doing Christmas shopping for my brides and grooms, editing clients, family, and friends. Baking cookies for them. Exercising at the gym because I know that's what I need for my physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Editing for my photographer clients so that they can enjoy more time with their loved ones this holiday season. Reading a book before bed while sitting beside my husband. Playing with my puppies :) Watching Christmas movies while drinking egg nog. 🎄⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I love you all and I love posting things for you and I hope you know that. But I also think you know that there are more important things in life and that sometimes those things need to take priority. 💫 This December, I am choosing to let the most important things take priority and to not feel bad about it. Thank you sticking around while I keep my priorities straight (even if they don't involve as much social media). 📱 Oh and in case you’re wondering, I chose this photo solely because it makes me smile 😁 Happy Tuesday!
You’re welcome ☺️ Thanks @mindykaling! ❤️
