Hey everyone!!! We received these adorable cute dainty scissors in the mail yesterday and I just had to try them out right away! @warm_crochet was so very very kind to send these for us to try out and boy are they cute! The scissors I’ve been using recently were those out out of the kitchen drawer, you know the ones, that also crack nuts? 😂 Not very classy!!! These make the whole crafting experience that much more special! They are very pointy and sharp, oiled and ready to use! They look totally vintage which I love! On their website you can order these, and honestly, I think they’re a great deal! Thank you so much for letting us try these out! The yarn bowl in the picture was a Christmas present from Matt! They’re called Vintage Beehive yarn holders and can be purchased from @looplondonloves I loooove the color! It also makes for a fantastic photo prop don’t you think 😉 The yarn in the picture was a gift from @merino_and_tomatoes who was so kind to give me a collection of mini skeins, all hand dyed by @wolmetverve ❤️ The little mini coaster is our own pattern, the Ferris Wheel Coaster, which is available for free on Ravelry, or just pop over to our website (boysandbunting.com). It’s been raining NON STOP here in Germany, and I’m absolutely done with it! Hope things will clear up soon!!! I hope you’re all well, and wish you a fantastic sunday! 💥Oh! It’s also the last day today (till midnight EST) to use the coupon code SPRINGSALE on either Etsy or Ravelry, to get 25% off on all our patterns! 💥
I received a message from an old friend of mine, I haven't spoken to her in years...probably 10!!! Was so nice to hear from her! She's expecting a baby and I've made her a little gift to celebrate the birth of her first child. A little something for the nursery! It's another zebra head using the pattern by @vanessamooncie I enjoy making these patterns so much!!!! I can't wait to mail this gift off, just need to find a box that's large enough! Matt x
Had a big sort out of the craft room today, getting rid of some of the things that I've saved years ago, but never used. Not good when every nook and cranny is stuffed to the brim. Amongst the clutter I rediscovered my blanket safely boxed up at the bottom of the yarn basket. It had been there since moving in October. I thought it was time that it saw daylight and so today I finally unpacked it from hibernation. I feel like spring has arrived!!!! Love this blanket so much!!!
Hello!!! My last spam post with my latest cowl design! The good thing about this new thing on Instagram is that I can show you a lot of photos at once! This was the little shoot I did of the Collar Down Cowl! The pattern can be found in our Etsy shop and on Ravelry! Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
👕The Collar Down Cowl is OUT NOW! 👚 Available on Etsy (link in Profile) and on Ravelry! A chunky textured statement piece that is made in no time at all! Includes a full length VIDEO tutorial as always! Easily adjustable in size, with written instructions on sizing in the PDF pattern! This might just be the cowl that the men in your life WILL want to wear, as it’s ‘simple’, but still has lots of texture and interest. Obviously it can be worn by Women as well! All my pieces are unisex. Even though the weather is getting a little bit better, I still need to keep my neck warm, without needing a full on scarf at the moment. This does the job perfectly! Thank you for all your crazy positive feedback again over the last couple of days when I first showed you this design! After a day of shooting the photos, a day of filming, and lots of editing, I’m so happy to finally share it with you guys! I’m still so thrilled and get so warm inside when I see your finished projects! You all mean the world to me! (PS. on Etsy you will now also find a 4 PATTERN PACKAGE DEAL with all 4 of my recent crochet patterns, it saves you 30% on the individual patterns!). Happy hooking and have a fantabulous day! xx Dennis
A splash of color for a dreary Thursday evening. This is a throw back to the blanket I made way back in 2012. It's bright and bold and was a pleasure to make for my friend ( although I secretly wanted to keep it for myself!) stare at the pixelated squares, they make your eyes go funny!! 😁
Hello everyone! I’ve been working really hard on this pattern! Tomorrow morning I will film the video tutorial. The written pattern is finished, and I’ve taken some pictures today! Always feels a bit weird taking photos of myself, but I think it’s best to show off the product whilst wearing it! Here’s a little preview from the shoot of today! The other photos will be in color! I hope you guys like it! I’m still not a 100% sure about the name for this one. I might keep it simple and call it the Collar Cowl as it reminds me of the collar of a shirt! But maybe you guys can convince me otherwise ;-) Have a fantastic day! I hope the release the pattern by Friday!
💃🏼Happy Dance! @just_pootling (check out her wonderful Instagram feed!) just posted this adorable stinking cute picture of her finished Jammy Dodgers! We LOVE that she photographed it with a lovely cup of tea! The free pattern is available on our website (www.boysandbunting.com) or find it on Ravelry! We just had to repost this cute shot!
