When I think of Madison I think of Sarah Ruhl, almonds, her belly laugh, and her bouncy curls. I actually think about her often, because I accidentally locked one of her photos on my camera card from her first shoot a million years ago and I STILL haven’t figured out how to delete it. I’ve cast and directed Madison in multiple scenes, and damn she is a playful, wild, beast on stage. She is a delight to shoot too. Delight like waiting for apple pie to get out of the oven. She’s also an incredible artist (what can’t she do!) and you should check out her work here: @mreiskeart I commissioned a painting of ladyslippers because I grew up on ladyslipper lane. I gave it to my mom. She loves it.
Linnea! Such a unique, kind, old soul. 💜 So many good shots, but there was something magical about this one. Thanks for coming back to hang, Linnea!
TUDE. Alexa brought the best energy to this shoot and it shows! 🔥
One headshot and one happy accident (that broke my camera) but hey - now we have his marvel shot.
Leah Gardiner is an award winning director, actor, producer, collector of exotic clothing, and all around lovely to be in the same room with. She just finished a run of For Colored Girls... at the public theater, which was truly incredible. She’s working on some cool new projects now and I can’t wait to see how they come to fruition. 💫
One of my favorite smiles of 2019! The amount of “good vibes only” Mel poured into her session was massively felt by all. I firmly believe that you put out the positivity + energy you want to receive. Gonna carry this with through 2020 + beyond. ⚡️
At the end of the shoot, I had Tori throw on her comfy sweater and tie her hair up how she normally wears it. It wasn’t a look she “pre-approved” with her agent and not something we planned. Sometimes going with something unexpected pays off. We loved this look and the the new colors it brought to her personality. ✨ I meet so many actors who feel pressure to fit the mold of what agents/managers/the industry want from them. There is something to be said about listening to the professionals because they definitely know what’s up. But if there is work that speaks to you, go for it! I believe with the right communication, there can be a balance between what “they” want and what YOU want. Tori was so open and playful throughout. Her brother bought her those earrings and it makes her emotional just thinking about it! 🖤
