Bravery. Sacrifice. Pride. These are just a few words that can be used to describe the Vietnam veterans who came to speak to Jenks High School juniors today. Students were able to hear from these heroes and participate in a Q&A to learn more about their journeys.

Today, Jenks Public Schools Board Members and administrators got to see firsthand the incredible programs being implemented at various JPS sites. From student leadership and community partnerships to cooking different countries cuisines and STEM lab projects, these students blew us away!

6th graders at @jenksei participated in an immigration panel today, telling their story of moving from another country and the struggles, surprises, and sacrifices accompanied with making their American dream a reality.
