With all this freezing weather, it's almost feeling like time to celebrate Xmas in July! And what better way to celebrate than to have a give away special. The following cats are desperate to break out of the shelter and find their forever homes. Each of these individuals have been in our care for at least 70 days. To help promote these beautiful felines, we will give away a small cat hamper with these cats to help set up their new homes. The cat hamper includes litter tray, litter scoop, double diner bowl, collar with a bell, small blanket, ball bell toy, 2kg of CatMate Litter and a small sample pack of Science Diet Hills kitten food. If you are looking for a feline friend, or know someone who is thinking about adopting, please consider these deserving animals. They have spent so much time with us and though we love to care for them here, we know they will be forever grateful to be in a home of their very own. Head over to our Facebook page to see info on each of the individual cats! Come on Geelong! We need these beauties home.
Meet Lady and Chino. These two Staffy X met in their assessment last week and bonded so much they wouldn't leave each others side. So much they ended up staying overnight in the same pen, now they are in foster care together to gain some weight. It's not often we see 2 dogs bond so quickly together, it is actually quite special to watch. Social Club is great for the dogs to get out and we can see their real personalities. They become more socialised and well mannered and it's a great way to tire out your dogs for the day. We will be advertising these two cuties when they have finished in foster care. It would be great if they could be adopted together, but they will be fine if separated also. Lady (the tan staffy) is very gentle, can live with cats and other dogs. Chino is younger, he is a little more puppy like and can also live with cats. If you would like your dog to meet some friends in Social Club, please come down from 9:30 Sunday - Wednesday and give your dog an hour of play. We also run Greyhound Social Club for all the Greyhound owners out there. Call us - 52482091 Email: firstname.lastname@example.org for bookings
GAWS GRADUATE UPDATE: ''About a year ago my partner and I adopted Missy, her name remained the same she's the tortoise shell my partner adopted her without me knowing, I fell in love with her so much so we adopted another and her name is Violet (Leah at the shelter) she is the Tabby. We had a few hiccups with territory when we got our second cat but as we can see in the photos they are still quiet close. When we got Violet she was very quiet and extremely clingy with me especially. Since then she has really came out and became the biggest smoocher ever, she's very patient with children and is very lazy! When we got Missy she was very curious and a little confused she was very scared of anyone who wasn't my partner, since then she's started spending time with everyone who comes in to visit, she's a very friendly hyperactive cat, Missy still struggles with young children but without a doubt leaves her comfort zone to try she's very playful and even plays fetch now. They're both amazing cats and suit us and our household well. I couldn't imagine our lives without them! Thankyou Gaws for giving us the opportunity to love and home these 2 blessings Love from 2 very pleased owners and 2 incredible cats xx''
