  • Today and everyday, we are grateful for Dr. Martin Luther King’s life and legacy. May we strive to honor it by always standing up for what is right, even if we are standing alone. We want peace, so let us work for justice.

📷: 4th Grade worked together to create this collaborative poster of Dr. King. It’s hanging outside their classroom.

  • Thank you for all of your support during this challenging year! Although we had to do so many things differently, our commitment to our mission remained the same. Happy New Year! (Please note: unmasked photos were taken before March 12!)

  • Yesterday, Father Marc and our K0 students placed Baby Jesus in the manger, sang “Happy Birthday”, and blessed the nativity. This is a long-standing tradition at SAS on the last day before Christmas break. Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas! @csoboston @cparlingtonma #jesusisthereasonfortheseason

  • 7A hosted a beautiful Mass for the feast of the Immaculate Conception today, and the rest of the school live streamed from their classrooms. Thank you, Father Mike! @csoboston *Please note, lectors only removed their masks during their reading (when they were more than six feet away from everyone). Everyone was masked through the entire Mass.

  • SAS classes practiced November’s Virtue of the Month with Project Gratitude, making cards and posters expressing our gratitude to those in our community who have worked so hard to keep us safe and healthy throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including: Arlington Police Department, Arlington Fire Department, Armstrong Ambulance, Arlington Board of Health, Winchester Hospital, Mount Auburn Hospital, Lahey Hospital, Melrose-Wakefield Hospital, Lazarus House, the Carmelite Sisters, and Stop & Shop Arlington. We are thankful to all who have worked to keep us healthy, safe, fed, spiritually nourished, and cared for during these challenging times. We know that even during difficult times, there is always much to be thankful for. We pray in a special way today for all who are sick or suffering, and for all who are alone, and for all families mourning the loss of a loved one. May we never take our blessings for granted. @csoboston
