With spring upon us, @rebloomchicago is blooming once again! ReBloom is Pollen's flower donation program, which offers free volunteer workshops that teach the basics of floral arranging with lightly used wedding flowers. The redesigned flowers become bedside arrangements brought to local nursing homes, hospices, and hospitals. As botanist Luther Burbank said, “Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food and medicine for the soul.” Keep an eye out for workshop opportunities in the coming weeks!

Another view of @bridgeportartcenter Skyline Loft: with the subdued tones of the wooden tables and chairs, the green of the center foliage (and salads!) looks especially bright and earthy for a relaxed, sunny ambiance. Photography by @kentdrakephoto. 8 of 9.
Herbs like lavender, mint, sage, and even rosemary add a garden feel to arrangements, and in lavender's case, the most soothing scent! For this wedding, we had modest bundles of lavender on the tables to accent the larger arrangements. Photography by @kentdrakephoto. 7 of 9.
