  • April 2020 Launch No. 2⠀ GMUND BIO CYCLE - Allow me to introduce (fanfare please) Chlorophyll, Wheat, Cannabis-Hanf, Cannabis-Melangé and Cycle. Get your hippy vibe on and let those creative juices flow!⠀ Chlorophyll: There's a reason this paper looks and smells like freshly cut grass.... it literally is made from grass cut in the Bavarian meadows. The sight, the fragrance, the touch - your senses will think they've died and gone to Bavarian heaven.⠀ ⠀ Wheat: Think straw, wheat straw in fact. 🌾 Up to 50% cellulose from wheat straw replaces classical wood-based raw material. This paper even contains 5% unprocessed straw from Bavarian farmers. You can feel that straw when you run your fingers over it and you can absolutely see it too (zoom in 👀).⠀ ⠀ Cannabis-Hanf: This paper will give you the 'high' you've been searching. Top-quality cellulose from European grown cannabis is visible in the natural subdued colour and slightly coarse texture of Gmund's Cannabis-Hanf. (Just promise not to roll and smoke it).⠀ ⠀ Cannabis-Melange: At 125gsm, this is our envelope stock partnership to Cannabis-Hanf. It's 'toothy', with a gentle embossing that's more pronounced on one side and tiny flecks of hemp are visible throughout the sheet.⠀ ⠀ Cycle: Cycle.... short for recycle maybe? ♻️ The use of 100% recycled cellulose in this gem is visibly evident in the elegant cream hue of this stock.   • ~ A HANDMADE FAVE ~⠀ This suite using our Indie Handmade paper is the latest imaginings by the clever designers at @studio.jorge -- and would have to be one of my favourite Indie suites yet.⠀ ⠀ Hayley + Joshua's invite was the feature, printed simply in black digital onto our A5 Indie Handmade, with the stunning and perfectly placed typography as the main attraction.⠀ ⠀ They chose our blackest of blacks Bloom Ebony for the envelopes, printing in contrasting white ink digital. The reply card was 100% Black digital printed on Fluoro White Cotton 300gsm and 'On the Day' cards white ink digital on new Versa Felt Eclipse Black 297gsm, adding that incredible texture that only a felt card stock can offer.⠀ ⠀ This timeless black and white suite was carried through to Hayley's Hen's Night and Bridal Shower invites, which were both printed white ink digital onto our Indie Handmade Kohl — understanding unpredictability of the uneven surface with simple and forgiving typography.⠀ ⠀ Big thanks to our Printery gals for their passion for perfection, as always.⠀ ⠀ ⭐️ Five stars to @studio.jorge for a truly magnificent suite! -> -> -> SWIPE FOR MORE IMAGES

Samples will be in our April swatch updates that’ll be ready in a week or so. .. It’s definitely a bit slower going around here without all our production people - but we’ll get there. Problem is our Japanese shipment with the new Woodland in it (which will also need to be duplexed by hand to 300gsm) is being held by customs for fumigation 🙄. Fingers crossed 🤞 it arrives Monday. We had this beautiful hand lettered plate we’re printing for @inkwellbyzara on the press and we’re very grateful to Zara for allowing us to use it to perform these tests to show you. We have so few staff on, so any time saved while we rush to get everything done before we’re in lockdown is an absolute bonus. We had this beautiful hand lettered plate we’re printing for @inkwellbyzara on the press and we’re very grateful to Zara for allowing us to use it to perform these tests to show you. We have so few staff on, so any time saved while we rush to get everything done before we’re in lockdown is an absolute bonus. Thank you again to @inkwellbyzara - her beautiful, bold hand-lettering was perfect for the test. .
