Have been drawing this recently during a @reinis.jaunais concert in Amsterdam. I tried to capture the vibe of his fast paced and yet very atmospheric music in the image. Was fantastic to hear - I didn't know it's possible to get such sounds from a guitar. The space is also really nice! I had this travel sketch of #NotreDame already planned for posting this week, when the fire happened. I'm a bit weirded out by this coincidence - but I'm glad that the damage isn't too great, so that these beautiful elements are still mostly intact. Happy to learn this artwork has been chosen in the first round for @zomerexpo exhibition in Amsterdam. Life drawings made at the sessions at @volkshotel Amsterdam. I used flex-nibs here, and becoming a real fan of those. It allows quick variation of the lines. It limits a little the directions that you can draw (pulling counter the nib would scratch the paper)... but that creates a natural flow for the line directions.
