Nobody knows how to handle a project like an entrepreneur. Did I mention the color scheme of the tags is on point?? 😁👌
“Supposed to” is the best thing I have ever let go of. I show my clients rough mockups (like this one ☝️) of how I’m imagining their websites looking as soon as I have an idea of it in my head. I’ll use quick filler text and I might even borrow a photo from your Insta just to get the ideas out there so you can see where I’m going with it. Even if we’re still working on logo concepts. I used to hold off because the mockup was “supposed to” come later. But you know what I found? Showing my clients what’s going on in my head early on helps them picture how the logo concepts and color palette will look in the grand scheme of things. It brings them in on the creative process on a deeper level. If you wish you could do something a certain way, maybe just do it. Stop telling yourself how you’re “supposed to” do it and trust your gut 👍
Holidays are hard. Moving a family of 4 is harder. We’re dealing with both right now and it’s crazy pants. And then of course there’s the anxiety of “if I don’t show up on Instagram for a little while, won’t the whole world collapse?!” It doesn’t. Especially when you’ve done the branding work to attract only the dreamiest most wonderful clients & audience. I’ve been met with nothing but support and I couldn’t be happier to have such a badass business 💕 I’m still working hard behind the scenes for my clients and students. So if your brand and website are on your “to-master” list of 2020, I’m currently booking for a start date of February. Send me a DM and tell me about your brand & your goals! I’d love to help you crush it next year 🎊
I don’t like hearing “but I can’t afford an Adobe subscription” as an excuse to not move forward. Giiiiiiirl, I still use free phone apps to create my graphics all. the. time! 👏 If you have clarity on your brand style, you can use any software and still create something amazing.
