How did you spend your weekend? This is how our ambassador, @malthe_wisler, spent his:🎣 "I used most of my Saturday deadbaiting for Pike in a lake. I am crazy about this form of fishing. You can get really cozy with your Trangia, while waiting for a fish to bite. Even though the temperature was below 0 celcius, my clothing from Geoff Anderson: Dozer6, Urus6 as my outer layer, and the Teddy fleece + Wizwool underwear as my base layer. I love this set of clothing as it is really easy to move around in, which is nice when you, like me, have to walk trough a lot of bushes and trees! Also it is 100% waterproof and windproof! Unfortunately I didn't catch any Pike this Saturday, but that is alright! It makes it more special when that bite finally comes!" @lars_rytter_fishing is an expert Pike fisherman, but he has used a lot of time on the coast lately. As you can see it has paid off: 🎣😉 "I have used loads of time learning the local coast lately. The sessions has given me some great nature experiences in terms of curious seals, birds hunting for prey, etc. I have caught around 20-25 Seatrout, and lost a good amount too, unfortunately. @kasperstrube has broken his personal record fly fishing for Pike! Personal record Pike on 9 Kg. and 106 cm: 🎣❄😁 After new years eve, and loads of wine and beer, I had to sleep until dinner time. But that just made me even more fresh, and ready to go catch some Pike on the fly. After an hour of fishing, this fish bit. At first I thought the fly was stuck on the bottom, but seconds later, the wheel started spinning. A huge Pike who fought very well! I landed the fish and the weight said 9.12 Kg! "It was a couple of really cold and windy days, but I still wanted to try to catch some Perch! Due to a bad elbow, I only jigged for 30 minutes, but it gave a great fish weighing in at around 1890g the first day. The other, I caught one weighing in at 1760g. So all in all, it was two good days! The weather sucked, so I was really fortunate to have my Dozer + Urus set and my Thermal3 as my base layer."
