I've been meaning to reflect back on my 7th 10 day silent Vipassana meditation retreat that I recently participated in from March 4th-15th 2020 in Joshua Tree, CA. Ironically enough, I had been observing noble silence when it was announced that our country had been declared to be in a state of emergency. 🧘♀️ Little did I know I was filling up my 10 Parami jars and would be using those virtues to deal with life as I came out of the course and back into the real world. These paramis can be described as virtues that slowly get filled up drop by drop into jars (as a metaphor). These are the perfections or noble character qualities that allowed the buddha enlightenment. 🙏 My 10 days and nights were filled with sensational skies, bright stars, snow capped mountains, pink hue sunsets, vast every changing climates, panoramic views and an overall constant connection inwards. Also, may I mention a 5 month in utero baby with all her senses open receiving these beautiful vibrations. ✨ My message to all is now more than ever in light of the current pandemic we are all being called to reach inside these jars and call these Parami's into action in order to get through these tough times. These courses provide an amazing way to cultivate these parami's but I encourage you to find ways including breath work, meditation, and yoga which will also help build these universal qualities that can lead our souls! #vipassanameditation #paramis #buddhahood #risingabove

As a healthcare clinic, we want to help quiet the noise and chatter around what is going on today in order to help release anxiety and worry. We are doing this by asking each other to participate in noble silence while receiving IV therapies or massage treatments in the clinic. Being still and silent allows our body and minds to detox from the overload of media and information. We will better be able to transform our fear into love. • A guided meditation will be provided in order to have something to follow along to while being peaceful. No technology, no talking, just peace in the mind, body, and spirit. • We hope that this resonates with you all and cannot wait to enjoy our sacred and safe space with you tonight and always. 🕉 ☯️

Women’s day shouldn’t be just 24 hours out of the year. We like to celebrate women every day of the year! Here’s to all the women that have taught us, raised us, inspired us, nurtured us, and loved us unconditionally...AND to the men that supported us and uplifted us along the way! Where there is women, there is magic 💫 and we would be nowhere without them. A special thanks and an immense amount of gratitude to the female founder of the clinic @dr.meghanathanki, our naturopath @inclusive_natural_medicine, our two amazing therapists @lschrempp and @mariaenergyguru, and our director of operations @daniiyogini 💓 We could not do it without these amazing women and the women and men that support us everyday. So much gratitude 🙏 #nationalwomensday #nationalwomensyear

Being out in nature and taking in all the elements that Earth provides for us may be the healthiest thing you can do for yourself. We are human, but we are animals. It is in our nature, to be immersed in nature. Take time to remove yourself from the screens and the concrete. Put your face up to the sun and your feet in the water. Just see how much better you will feel.🌲🌊 •• After spending the day on the lake this weekend, I asked my daughter, Veda, if she liked being out on the water? She replied, “No, mom! There is so much wood floating in the water. It is scary!” (Aka the debris that had floated out from the mountains and the shore due to rainfall) I gently reminded her to look at everything else this beautiful place has to offer. “Look at the bright blue sky, look at the beautiful mountains, feel the fresh air coming into your lungs and the crisp sunshine energizing your body.” It is so important to encourage our younger generations to look at all of the positives in each moment we are given. Nature is imperfect, just like us. Embracing things for the bad and the good is the rhythm of life. Keep your thoughts positive so you are able to see the world through a beautiful lens. And be that influence and wisdom for others so they can see the beautiful picture that you do. 💕
