I would encourage others to sign up to be a volunteer puppy parent because it’s not just having a dog for the sake of having a companion, but it is something much more special. These animals have an amazing purpose. They are going to have a great life with someone who loves them, but they will also have an important role in life. ⠀ ⠀ Marzena is caring for her first puppy-in-training, Patrick. ⠀ ⠀ If you too want to make a real difference and help raise a puppy to go on to become an assistance dog, then please visit caninepartners.org.uk/puppyparents. ⠀ ⠀ Please share this with anyone you feel would be a great fit for this vital voluntary role.
Best in Show, the lovely Maddie! Thank you to everyone who attended our Fun Dog Show and BBQ at our Southern Training Centre near Midhurst, West Sussex, on Saturday 15 September 2018. We hope you and your four-legged friends all had a ball! First time puppy parent Liz Brindley is training black Labrador Misty: Signing up to be a puppy parent has been one of the best things I have done. It gives me satisfaction to know I am doing my bit and I am also learning excellent training skills.. We are still in need of more puppy parents to help us train canine partners of the future. Find out more about this highly rewarding voluntary role here: caninepartners.org.uk/puppyparents 💜
