SUPPORT NORTH-EAST VICTORIAN PRODUCERS Rutherglen's annual wine festival, Tastes of Rutherglen, returns on the Labour Day long weekend (7 & 8 March) to showcase the very best of the Rutherglen region's award-winning wine and produce. 🍷🍇 With North-East Victoria affected by the summer bushfires, there is no better time to spread the word and encourage as many people as possible to get along and support the region and its makers. Tastes of Rutherglen will see all 18 Rutherglen wineries open their cellar doors with something different to sip, taste and savour at each one. There will also be family activities, masterclasses and special events hosted by a number of wineries. Tickets are on sale now and start from just $20. So proud of this man. Smithy is a lot of things to a lot of different people. To me he’s Dad. To others, he’s a mate and to many he’s a bloke who makes some good wine. But today, he’s one of so many heroes doing their bit to keep people and their belongings safe and sound. Good on ya to the Norong CFA- “Can do No-Wrong”!
It is with great pride that we can now boast a DOUBLE GOLD award from this year’s @6nationswine for our 2018 Reserve Durif. This is a truly unique wine show in a number of ways. Firstly, entries are by invitation only, so thank you very much to Huon Hooke of @therealrvw for our inclusion. Secondly, we’re competing against the best of the best from the New World Wine Nations- USA, Chile, Canada, South Africa, New Zealand and of course, Australia, with each nation submitting their top 100 wines. Congratulations to our winemaking and viticultural team on this highly deserved accolade.
