People seem to be pretty consistent when it comes to spending time on a mountain top, this picture gives you a pretty good idea! We asked yesterday what you do when you reach the top. It basically comes down to this: take in the beauty, shoot some photos and selfies, rest, snack and prepare for the way down. The odd adventurer like @wolfevans paints from the peak and some will take on the challenge to name all surrounding mountains. The lucky winner of this week's #inquiretoinspire is @zuntigal. You may send us a direct message to claim your @icebreakernz prize! Thanks everyone for your answers, we hope you will summit many smaller and bigger peaks this summer! #ValhallaKingdom #JumboPass
#inquiretoinspire #11 What do you do when you reach the top? That precious moment you worked so hard for... When @leahtylerszucki gets to the top she says she soaks it in, such untouched natural beauty. (I freaking love the mountains. I drive 2 hours basically every weekend) Let us know in the comments what you do and you might be the lucky person that wins an @Icebreakernz Flexi Chute, which can be used as a neck-warmer, twisted into a beanie, pull up as a facemask, or folded into a headband. @stasher_bc : Tell a story with your actions. Realize that you are writing a novel everyday and you might as well choose to inspire. Let's spread positivity and mindful actions. Chris Istace lives on Vancouver Island and we are excited to share some of his inspiring trips and outdoor knowledge on our blog this Spring. #ValhallaKingdom #mindfulexplorer

Ok we all know fresh powder is becoming quite rare unless we are at elevations above 6,000ft. We could not resist sharing this uber-cool snow elephant though, made by one of the trip leaders of @activelifebc. Active life BC brings people together in a fun, friendly and inviting atmosphere in the outdoors. They are located in West BC.
Yesterday we asked if there is anything new that you'd like to learn in the outdoors this summer. Rolling a kayak was mentioned, which brought up memories of the kayak safety course that the @vpo.newdenver team did last year to get all staff trained for running their new paddle sport rental shop @thebeachshop.newdenver. Did you know that many of our stores have rentals in the summer and/or winter time? Have a look at your local store! -- The lucky winner of this week's #inquiretoinspire post is @pamela_dale, who is going to continue to conquer her fear of heights this summer. You may send us a direct message Pamela to collect your Valhalla Kingdom shirt! #inquretoinspire #10 In these posts we inquire with you about various outdoor subjects, to inspire eachother. And the nice thing is, we also give away a small prize to one lucky person! This time we are curious what you would like to learn this Summer? We already inquired at our Head Office; this amazing handstand of @aly.jebb bb from Squamish, rock climbing, knot-tying (or did he say 'nothing'? we can't be sure..), dehydrating your own meals (blog post about backcountry food coming up!) and not to be afraid of heights. Write in the comments what it is that you would like to learn this summer! This week's prize is a Valhalla Kingdom t-shirt.

'Flip flops' off, looking out over sea, lounging in a beach chair with some drinks and outdoors magazine. Life in April really doesn't have to be all that different from July! Happy Easter! Picture: @alexkluth #ValhallaKingdom

'The next generation of Joe Rich trail builders. I was so proud when they dug out the tools it almost brought a tear to my eye. The one said we should be done in about 4hrs. Then the next said you mean more like 2 days! Bahaha I love bikes.' Repost: @toddavison
