Congratulations to the 2020 WFC outstanding seniors, Trinity Pineda and Danielle Fradet! 🎓 #wildestmajoroncampus • • Trinity: “Thank you to all the faculty, staff, and fellow students in WFC that have made my last four years something I will never forget. I had so many great opportunities from checking wood duck nest boxes for my first internship to walking around the Kelso Dunes looking for lizards as part of my WFC 101 project. As fun as those opportunities were, the time I spent in class, labs, and field trips with all my fellow students will always be special. This is definitely not how I thought my time at Davis would end, but a lot is currently happening in the world. The Black Lives Matter movement is currently in need of support from everyone. I stand with the Black community and encourage my fellow WFC alumni and students to do so as well (one link to many resources https://blacklivesmatters.carrd.co). Congrats fellow WFC Class of 2020 grads! • • Danielle: Thank you to the students, faculty, and staff in WFCB for making my time at UC Davis so wonderful. Some of my favorite moments include prepping my first bird specimen for MWFB, attending the end of the year BBQs, studying with my wildlife study group, going on waterfowl ecology field trips, and talking with my professors in office hours. After graduation, I will continue to work at the Museum of Wildlife and Fish Biology. Congrats Class of 2020! Although our last quarter did not end how we imagined it would, I know we will all go on to do great things.
Congratulations to Dr. John Eadie for being inducted to the California Waterfowler’s Hall of Fame by the California Department of Fish and Game! 🦆 repost from @ucdaviscaes

Associate Dean Sue Ebeler will be holding an Ask Me Anything session for the WFCB department. This is a great time to talk and ask questions about your major, classes, and the kind of opportunities you would like to see for students. We will be holding a raffle for anyone who comes to this session (you do not have to stay the whole time). The prize will be a free WFCB hat, shirt, or sweatshirt! Please let us know if you plan on coming or are unable but do have a question by filling out this RSVP form (https://forms.gle/UZv9Tfr8VFJjt7NV8)
