Where are my homeschool mamas at? ⠀ ⠀ I'm simultaneously ordering curriculum and wondering how my girl is old enough for kindergarten. 😳 Last year, we did a more laid back approach to homeschool TK, but I'm gearing up for a little more structure. Which actually works well for my daughter.⠀ ⠀ I'm also working out what direction I want to take my business in during this new season. Who says I have to play by the rules?
It's hard to stay irritated at the day's antics when this is the look your pup gives you at the end of the day. 😂😉♥️😍 My day has basically been kid + puppy antics with a good dose of biz brainstorming. Oh and yet another medical appointment. #cockapoosofinstagram #cockapoopuppy #mischeviouspuppy
Oh, hey there. I thought I'd pop in for #fridayintroductions to let you know I'm still here. 😉 I've been a little quiet because I'm dealing with several medical things. In fact, I should find out today if I'll need eye surgery. (Which really freaks me out.) But, did you know that May is mental health awareness month? One in twenty five Americans deals with a mental health illness that significantly impacts their life. I'm one of those. In addition to my growing list of medical diagnosises, I have clinical depression. I've taken meds for it for a long time and I'm very grateful for them. Therapy has been really helpful as well. But I still have flares. Especially when I'm dealing with stressful things. Like medical uncertainty and the realities of being a military family. Being an entrepreneur puts us at even greater risk. There's a lot of stress that comes with dream chasing. If you are dealing with mental health issues, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Going to say that one again. You are not alone. I'm not ashamed to help end the stigma around mental health challenges by admitting that I'm 1 in 25. It's also really important to note that mental illness is a legitimate illness. It requires holistic treatment and not just an attitude or mindset sift. Good vibes and focusing on the positive isn't a cure for depression and anxiety. So, be sensitive with your advice. Don't downplay someone's struggle by handing out over-simplified advice. #mentalhealthawareness #mymentalwellnessmatters #depressionsurvivor #mycreativebiz #calledtobecreative #creativepreneur #creativecommunity #communityovercompetition
