Being happy never goes out of style.
BREAKING: My website & blog just got a makeover! 😍😍😍😍 Some things I learned while going through the website making process: 1. Writing about yourself is hard. 😰 2. Hiring a web designer was one of the best decisions. 🙌 3. How excited I am to keep creating. 📸 4. Since my blog is no longer sleepy…it is redesigned and “woke,” you’ll be seeing new blog posts. 🥂 I have to give a HUGE shoutout to @jeffreyshipley, the master designer behind my @showit.co website. He’s amazingly talented at what he does and is 1/2 of @tonicsiteshop, where the base template of my website is from. They have some killer templates if you’re in the market! Also to the amazing @maxvideopro77 for the video footage and @lizzimbelmanphoto and @ksmith_photography for the photos so people can see who I am. I love the desktop version so much, but mobile is pretty rad too. #ryangreenleafphotography #sacramentoweddingphotographer #bayareaweddingphotographer #sanfranciscoweddingphotographer #californiaweddingphotographer #destinationweddingphotographer

Designed and ordered a few more sample albums - one being of this Elopement from Tahoe. What was supposed to be a 2 mile hike turned into 10 miles that day because the road closed early for winter due to snow. I wasn’t mad about it. It was a beautiful day in Tahoe with this as a backdrop. YAS. 👌
Heading up to Oregon today to take my Grandma back home after Thanksgiving. We sat outside for lunch today and picked out these leaves all from 1 tree. Side note, I love fall. I also barely took any photos yesterday but something I was extremely thankful for was to have all my living Grandparents sitting around the same table together on Thanksgiving. I can’t remember the last time that happened. It’s hard watching them struggle in their old age but try and cherish every moment with them. Swipe right ➡️➡️➡️ to see them together from earlier in the week at my Grandpa’s 92nd Birthday.
Given it’s Thanksgiving week, one thing I’m thankful for is being able to travel to different places to photograph people in love. It was a cold day outside in Chicago but in this conservatory, it was warm, lush, and made for a perfect backdrop for photos.
Client edits come first which means that personal photos taken throughout the year often get the back burner. Getting to relive them and reflect on the year makes me happy though. Here’s one from back in May at Yosemite.
