Prepare for the Park City Welcome Night!
Get ready for the Colorado Welcome Night!
We hope you are safe and remained out of harm’s way during Hurricane Florence. As the severe hurricane conditions have now passed, CCUSA wants to remind you of some safety measures you should keep in mind. Stay away from flooded areas! Do not drive or even walk through flooded areas for the following reasons: • Electrical lines may be downed and could be exposed and cause electrocution • You risk exposing yourself to bacterial and viral infections and other diseases associated to standing water • Draining flood waters can create currents that could sweep people and vehicles away • Flooded swamps may have carried snakes and alligators to other flooded areas Also, if you evacuated prior to the completion of your contract and are not going to be returning to your job, please email your program coordinator and let them know of your current location. Thank you! #hurricaneflorence
