Brrrr! Today would be a perfect day for a Burma Vista Irish Coffee from @cordialcraftkc, wouldn’t you agree?
Confession- I fell behind with my daily #thankfulfaces post. I was living in the moment as we celebrated Baby K’s first birthday and made some big family decisions. Truthfully, it feels great to unplug and be present. . So, here is last Tuesday’s post workout photo and today’s #nofilter / #nomakeup post. How’s that for productivity?? I’m thankful that I haven’t had to go to physical therapy multiple times a month (I had scoliosis surgery when I was 12) because I discovered building up my core and working out feels good. I’m thankful that because of @beautycounter and a balanced eating plan, I don’t feel the need to wear makeup every day. I’m thankful that I could work out at home with two kids at my feet and that they see a mom that is trying to be stronger for them. Was any of this easy with kids at foot or did the results happen overnight? No. I’m grateful for the willpower to push myself to be better than I was yesterday. . I have so much to be thankful for today. What are you thankful for?
Party prepping for Kennedy’s first birthday. How is it already time for this??
True story, when I was little my mom entered me into the “Best Freckles Contest” at the Kansas City Irish Fest. I won for the most freckles. Micheal’s “angel kisses” starting appearing on his nose this Summer and I love that we share this little trait. Our freckles might have gone a tad dormant this Fall, but they one of my favorite features. What is your favorite feature? . #thankfulfaces
Yup, I just went there. I think I just posted the scariest thing I have ever posted to Instagram... me wearing a charcoal mask. . You know what I am thankful today? That I can be on a conference call, with a charcoal mask and yoga pants on, from the comfort of my own home. I am still getting my work done, while I multitask self-care, emails and laundry. I call that winning on a Monday! What is your Monday win??
For nearly a year and half, we planned Taylor and Lucas’ wedding. I instantly loved their love for each other and how much Lucas cared for Taylor. While we didn’t meet often, as these two planned from long distance, our meetings were fun and often included conversations about our beloved Wildcats. . Kind-hearted, genuine and trusting. Taylor and Lucas, it was a delight to plan your wedding, and even better to gain your friendship through the planning process.
