This Thursday at 7pm, Literati Bookstore in downtown Ann Arbor will be featuring fifteen recent publications by fourteen U-M History faculty members whose books will be available for purchase and signing. The event is free and open to the public, and the authors and editors of the featured works are: Rita Chin, Geoff Eley, Susan Juster, Valerie Kivelson, Deborah Dash Moore, Dario Gaggio, Joel Howell, Powel H. Kazanjian, Derek Peterson, Helmut Puff, LaKisha Simmons, Scott Spector, Ronald Suny, and Melanie Tanielian.
At the Eisenberg Institute for Historical Studies, faculty, graduate students, and visitors draw on common scholarly ground to examine diverse approaches to the study and the teaching of history. The institute’s library features works from scores of guest speakers who have presented at the institute since its founding in 2006.
