I’m smiling over at my husband Chris in this picture, he makes me laugh every single day. If I could give anyone headed towards marriage a small piece of advice, marry your best friend. And someone that makes you laugh. Here’s to my best friend who solo parented all weekend so I could enjoy a little time away. Love you, Chrissy!
Hey, hi! I’m back after a little insta detox this holiday season. Much needed and just so wonderful! What have I been up to? Goal setting with my creative girlfriends, welcoming sweet new couples for 2019/2020, and snuggling my little family of 3. This weekend I’m traveling solo in LA and enjoying every second of this little vacay! I’ll be posting on my instastories some of my favorite meals and adventures for those interested! Hope y’all have had an amazing 2019 thus far, back to my poolside margarita + lunch. 😆
I challenged myself at the beginning of 2018 to back up just a little. I can hear Chris whispering this to me on the sessions he’s able to tag along with me on! I’d say it worked and I love the result! I want my couples who have a little anxiety before their session to know that you’ll mostly be hanging out with the person you love most in this world. That creates the best images and the real emotion. Win win. Now to work on 2019 goals to continue to push and grow this coffee-driven, one lady show, sweet little dream turned reality of mine. 🖤
A little sparkle alongside my favorite color and the stunning dress Elizabeth wore to her engagement session! Can’t wait to share more from her time with her beau Kevin behind my lens! 🖤
Jared & Janine will make incredible parents to their sweet baby girl. I'm sharing all of my favorites from their #scottsdalematernity session over on the blog today. This one might just be my favorite, but I feel that way about their entire gallery. Capturing growing families and families is a wonderful part of my business that I hope to share more of in the future. Happy Monday, everyone!
I’m enjoying a quiet empty house this morning and working hard to cross of my business todo list and the personal one too. I’ve got a free weekend for the first time in a long time which means lots of blogs coming your way!! Can’t wait to share more from Danielle & John’s sweet wedding day! #pentax645 #arizonafilmweddingphotographer #photovisionprints #portra400
Christmas in the desert might be my favorite thing. We kept it simple and added a few Santa hats to the tops of our huge saguaro. By we, I mean my sweet husband Chris! The only time I risk cactus impalement is to place a pretty engagement ring on one for that classic photograph! Here’s to cacti + lights and keeping it simple to truly enjoy the holidays. 🌵☀️🎄
I’ve been slowly incorporating more film into my work and Teagan & Justin’s engagement session is by far my favorite film work yet! They came perfectly coordinated and camera ready, but more importantly they treated their session as a quick hour to love on one another and live in the moment. Perfection! Counting down the days until their April wedding day, I know it will be magic. Sharing all my favorites (okay, that would be way too many) so I should say sharing just a few of my favorites over on the blog tonight. 🖤
Just about closing the book on 2018 & setting goals for 2019 and beyond! Our Christmas cards are going to print and I’m reminded that I can’t be the only one who kind of waits to the last minute! I have two weekday family session spots open before 12/20 for any one still interested! 🎄 Dream Team // Conference // @showit.co Host // @christiannetaylor // @joshnewton Planner // @shineeventsaz Rentals // @dang.finerentals Florals // @bloomandblueprint Stationary // @foilandink Linens // @latavolalinen Tableware // @theconfettistudio Lanterns // @fancyloudesigns Makeup // @chanelmolleobeauty Hair // @hairmotty
Happy bride, happy weekend! 💕 I’m photographing a wedding today, working on my Christmas list tomorrow, my kiddo has approximately 24 hours to teeter back to the nice list. 😆 We are gearing up for the holidays and hosting my in laws this year, I see a big tree and my MILs Christmas cookies in our future! What’s your favorite thing to bake or make during the holidays? 🎄
