Many instances in the past have proved that human intelligence when coupled with artificial intelligence can do wonders. Keeping that in mind, Indus International School, Bangalore (IISB) is the first school in the world to introduce the Collaborative Learning Model (CLM), where teachers will have robot assistants while delivering lessons in classrooms. These robots will never replace teachers, but they will share the everyday responsibilities of a teacher. This will allow teachers sufficient time to focus more on concepts, their relevance and application and mentoring the students. The CLM is being implemented for Grades 7, 8 and 9 for Physics, Biology, Chemistry, History and Geography. 
A fun filled three weeks for the children who have come all the way from Thailand to attend the Summer Camp. This comprises of ESL classes, music lessons, drama lessons, sport and interaction with the other staff. They also went for a couple of days to the Indus School of Leadership at Bangalore to experience the outdoor education which Indus offers. 
Our students from PP1 to Grade9 showcased the prototypes they had designed, built and tested to a crowd comprising of parents, staff member and their peers. The exhibition was successful in portraying the vision of the school which is " Creating leaders for tomorrow". The students effectively demonstrated some challenging, creative and innovative projects that they had developed. This whole process got the students to be critical thinkers, empathisers, collaborators, creators, communicators and also tested their resilience. 
With multiple gated communities mushrooming in the vicinity of the school, there has been the inevitable influx of migrant labour groups and the attendant shanty dwellings. These workers and their families have very limited access to essential amenities such as medical care/sanitation/water/food/education. Indus Hyderabad decided to reach out and help the migrant labour communities in the immediate vicinity of the school by way of providing free mid-day meal packets for the children of these communities. Efforts are also underway to provide basic educational instruction to the children. 
In what seemed like a test of mental and physical fitness, a group of nine students of Indus International Schools climbed the Mt Fuji (3,776 m), the highest peak of Japan. Mt. Fuji is the 7 largest peak in the world and is currently an active volcano (three separate volcanos in one). There is a very small window to trek Mt. Fuji; it starts at the beginning of July until the last week of August. Under the able guidance of Captain Mohit Tomar (Leadership Trainer, Indus School of Leadership), grades 8, 9 and 10 students from Indus International Schools in Pune, Hyderabad and Bangalore undertook this mountaineering expedition as part of their leadership training program, ‘Peak to Lead’, that is meant to train young minds to face all life’s challenges with grit and determination and overcome them despite hurdles. Out of the 9 students, the following 5 students summited the peak of Mt. Fuji 
We, at Indus International School Hyderabad, are proud to announce that 85% of our students have secured the IB Diploma this year, making it the highest since our inception. Not just that, one of our students secured the perfect score of 45/45, while 6 of our students scored above 40. We commend and congratulate our young achievers, their teachers, and the parents who’ve made this possible.
